The Electric Brew
The folks who have most actively been initiating Transition Goshen are looking to shift its direction and perception in the community. The hope is to see Transition Goshen recognized as more of a “what” than a “who”; a common “space” into which existing groups and individuals might converge and out of which new initiatives might emerge.
The Transition movement might be described as a design- or process-based approach to building community resilience. This gathering will be part of an ongoing series of gatherings intended to explore how Transition can work most effectively in Goshen. The gatherings will be informal, so join in for one or as many as you wish. No expectations or commitment required.
Topics for the meeting on Wednesday, November 27 (9am at the Electric Brew) will look at some of the key ingredients related to how Transition groups structure themselves.
Each of these ingredients were published in the “Transition Companion“, copies of which are available for loan or purchase from Transition Goshen and at the Goshen Public Library. The ingredients are also available online along with a summary of what the “ingredients” concept represents.
